SEUD Task Force

SEUD’s objective is to focus attention on a group of diseases that negatively affect womens’ health and fertility, to achieve this goal SEUD develops and encourages researches.

SEUD Task Forces aims to improve disease management and reduce the impact on women’s lives thanks to researches.

The goal is to establish a broad network of basic, translational and clinical investigators in Science and Clinical Care (mainly related to symptoms) and to function under the aegis of SEUD to improve and develop interest amongst SEUD members.

SEUD Surgery Task Force

Led by Prof. Horace Roman, this Task Force has 3 main objectives:

  • Train and educate SEUD Members on the use of surgery for the different benign uterine disorders
  • Inform and train on the latest innovations in the surgical field
  • Organize the SEUD Surgical Talk Show during SEUD Annual Congress.

SEUD Abnormal Uterine Bleeding Task Force

Led by Professor Marie-Madeleine Dolmans & Professor Ayman Al-Hendy

This Task Force has 3 main objectives:

  • Educate SEUD members on causes, diagnosis, treatment and prevention of abnormal uterine bleeding.
  • Update SEUD members on ongoing cutting edge basic, translational and clinical research related to abnormal uterine bleeding.
  • Foster collaboration among SEUD members globally in research, education and outreach activities related to abnormal uterine bleeding

SEUD Infertility Task Force

Led by Prof. Pietro Santulli and Prof. Fernando Reis, this Task Force has the following main objectives:

  • Propose and implement medical education initiatives in the topic of female infertility.
  • Identify research topics and priorities for  SEUD and its partners.
  • Organize the Precongress Course on Infertility during SEUD Annual Congress.
