Endometriosis is one of the most fascinating and intriguing disease in gynecology. The scientific and clinical update in the field of Endometriosis is totally changed in the last 20 years. For this reason, the Master “Endometriosis: the state of the art” held by SEUD will take into consideration the various aspects:

• The progress in understanding the pathogenesis from progesterone resistance to inflammation and neuroangiogenesis
• The different diagnostic approaches to the endometrioma, superficial peritoneal endometriosis and deep infiltrating endometriosis, including the advanced imaging procedures and clinical investigations
• The treatment options according to the patients age and symptoms and to the form of endometriosis. The co-existence of the other uterine disorders (adenomyosis, uterine fibroids, AUB) will be discussed
