The Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) is mandatory for visa-exempt foreign nationals who fly to Canada except U.S. citizens and travellers with a valid visa.
The eTA is electronically linked to one’s passport and is valid for five years or until your passport expires. Applying for an eTA is a simple and inexpensive online process that will take just a few minutes.
Please note that citizens of certain countries require a visa to visit or transit Canada.
To find out if you require a Visa or an eTA, please visit: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/visit/visas.asp
In some cases, foreign delegates or business travellers may require a Letter of Invitation to include in a visa application. Please contact the congress secretariat at Manon Algoud email@example.com to obtain an invitation letter.
Kindly note that your registration to the meeting must be paid prior to receiving an invitation letter.
It is important to note that a Letter of Invitation does not guarantee that a visa will be granted to the person in question.
