Professor Charles Chapron president of Society of Endometriosis and Uterine Disorders has confirmed that the 2016 annual meeting of the SEUD will be held in Barcelona from the 12th – 14th May.
Doctor Francisco Carmona, a founding member of the society, is the president of the Barcelona meeting.
SEUD’s objective is to focus attention on a group of diseases that negatively affect womens’ health and fertility, including endometriosis, adenomyosis, uterine fibroids, polyps, heavy menstrual bleeeding and uterine malformations. The 2015 SEUD meeting focused on Endometriosis and Women’s Health and the 2016 meeting’s main focus will be Adenomyosis. Adenomyosis occurs when endometrial tissue, which normally lines the uterus, exists within and grows into the muscular wall of the uterus.
