Yutaka Osuga is a professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology, the University of Tokyo. He is a leading physician scientist in Obstetrics and Gynecology in Japan.

 

He received his MD in 1985 and PhD in 1995 from the Graduate School of Medicine, the University of Tokyo, Japan. He completed his residency training of obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Tokyo. He is board certified by Japan Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Japan Society of Gynecologic and Obstetric Endoscopy and Minimally Invasive Therapy, Japan Society for Reproductive Medicine, and Japanese Society of Anti-Aging Medicine. He has been the Professor of Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, the University of Tokyo since 2013.

Prof. Osuga provides clinical services in gynecology and reproductive medicine with special expertise in laparoscopic surgery and assisted reproductive technology. His research program has focused on endometriosis, endometrium, and ovarian biology. He has authored over 200 research publications published in eminent peer-reviewed international journals and has written and edited many textbooks. He serves on the Editorial Board of Reproductive Sciences, Gynecology and Minimally Invasive Therapy, and Journal of Endometriosis and Pelvic Pain Disorders. He is frequently sought out to provide his expertise at medical conferences and academic institutions and is a member of several distinguished medical groups and associations.
